Santolina chamaecyparissus (grey santolina)

This has attractive tight grey foliage and takes well to pruning. A profusion of deep yellow, button-like flowers are produced in midsummer. Useful as a dried flower and insect repellent. Often used as a low hedging and in knot gardens.
