Goodwin Creek Plants

As mentioned on our home page, the plants we are selling are still grown by Jered and Anna Grzybowski, using the same growing practices, same greenhouse and coming from the same location. Jered and Anna joined the Charsaw Team in January of 2024. 

Our guarantee

All of our plants are well rooted, healthy and ready to plant when leaving our nursery. They have all been propagated on site and grown organically, and are guaranteed to grow under proper conditions and with proper care. They are shipped in 2 3/8" x 3 3/4” band pots. None are shipped bare-root. Our customers appreciate this since the plants do not have to be rushed into the ground upon their arrival. 

After receiving your plants, please inspect your plants immediately upon arrival. If there are problems with your order, please email our office at info@charsawfarms.com within 48 hours of arrival. Remember that plants will experience a little wear in their travels. 

We are not responsible for delays or damages in shipping.

Shipping Information

 

We typically ship plant orders via USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail on Mondays and Tuesdays so **hopefully** your plants arrive before the weekend. We ship all throughout the United States, including, California, Hawaii and Arizona.

Shipping begins in April based on the average last frost date for your location and also by plant readiness. We hand pick every plant that is ordered and check each one to make sure it is healthy and ready to ship. We ensure all plants are well rooted so they withstand the often rough journey to their final destination. 
 
We wish we could, but we cannot control what happens to plants or packages once they leave our hands!
 
When the heat reaches its peak, typically in late June, and into July, shipping dates slow down. We want your plants to arrive in the best condition possible and extreme temperatures, paired with being cooped up in a dark box with no light, make for some not so happy plants. 
 
If you wish to have your plants shipped at a specific time, please let us know in the comments of your order and we will do our best to accomodate. 
 
Most plants are potted and shipped in 2 3/8" x 3 3/4" band pots.

 There is a 6 plant minimum when ordering individual potted plants. (You do not need to order 6 of one plant, mixing plants and varieties is okay.) 

If you purchase from Charsaw Farms (and we are so grateful if you do) it validates the following shipping agreements:
  • Customer agrees they have provided a correct and secure mailing address. If any changes are needed to your provided address, please email info@charsawfarms.com ASAP. 
  • Customer agrees not to hold Charsaw Farms responsible for a package that is lost or damaged by USPS. 
  • Customer is responsible for filing a claim for a refund through USPS if your purchase/package has been damaged or lost.
  • NO returns, refunds, or exchanges can be made after an order has been shipped.

If you open your package and are unhappy with your purchase, please take pictures of the product and email us! Our goal is for you to receive healthy, happy plants and will try to work with every customer to make that happen.

Billing Information

All orders are charged by the credit card processor when the order is submitted, not when they ship. In this way we, Charsaw Farms, do not have access to your credit card number. We are only allowed to credit your account with a refund, and this is done without your credit card number. This is the safest way, we feel, to do business on the internet.

Order Tracking

We communicate with our customers via email so we ask all of our customers to provide a current email address upon checkout. Once we determine the estimated ship date for your plants, we will email this date to you.  We do our best to provide the best estimate for your shipment, however, we are at the mercy of these plants and sometimes the date changes. Any changes will be emailed to the email address provided.

You will be emailed tracking information from USPS when the order is shipped.

If you do not have internet access and cannot track the package, call us and we will track the package for you. 

Substitutions and Backorders

We will not make substitutions without your permission. If you wish to list acceptable substitutions, there is space provided in the shopping cart. We will likewise not backorder unavailable plants without your permission. If some of the plants will be ready later than the specified shipping date, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to have them backordered or canceled. For these reasons, it is important that you give us either a phone number or email address.                

Confidentiality

We do not sell, rent or share your information. It is strictly used by us in two ways.
1. to contact you in case of questions and to process your order.
2. to send you (via email) news about sales, classes, and other events at the nursery. If you wish to be taken off of this list, you can easily unsubscribe when you receive the first email.
