This early spring bloomer, Primula veris (cowslip), boasts upright stalks of bright yellow clustered flowers with a pleasant fragrance. Its pebbled leaves form tight clumps and the flowers are approximately 1/2 to 1 inch wide. It is a great addition to rock gardens and adds a pop of color to perennial borders. In milder climates, it maintains its evergreen foliage. Additionally, this plant has medicinal properties.

Mike When I was a kid my aunt had cowslip in her woods in Tennessee. It was always cool to see the bright green foliage in winter and to see the brilliant flowers. These came in fine condition, well-rooted but not pot-bound, and with lush new growth. Very pleased.
