Physostegia virginiana ‘Vivid’

A compact variation of the native species from northeastern U.S., displaying vibrant, pink flowers reminiscent of snapdragons throughout the later months of the year. Its upright stems hold long, pointed, and toothed leaves measuring 3-5 inches. This plant spreads quickly, but can be restricted by dividing mature clusters. It makes a great addition to border arrangements. It also serves as an ideal cut flower.
