Phygelius aequalis 'Yellow Trumpet' (cape fuchsia)

While not a true Fuchsia, Phygelius aequalis 'Yellow Trumpet' is distinguished by its long pendulous pale yellow flowers, which bloom profusely throughout the summer into fall and are highly alluring to hummingbirds. This plant thrives in warm summer climates with some shade, and easily spreads through underground runners. It is recommended to cut out old flower stalks to keep the plant looking neat.
