Mentha spicata (Spearmint)

The leaves of Mentha spicata are dark green and have a highly curled shape along the edges. They are slightly smaller in size compared to peppermint and have a mild flavor. The plant also produces pale blue flowers. Great fresh or dried. Mints are indispensable in teas and cooking, but spread rapidly. Growing in pots helps to control them.
