Lavandula x intermedia 'Sussex' Lavender

Introducing a new-to-us variety, Lavandula x intermedia 'Sussex'. This large variety is often compared to Phenomenal, but with a more compact growth habit. Its spikes can reach up to 2-4 inches in length with peduncles that can grow up to 18 inches. The dark violet calyx and violet-blue corolla give way to a mid-violet color. Blooming from mid-July to August, this variety also boasts a sweet fragrance.

Shipping for the season begins in April. We ship based on the average last frost date for your shipping zip code and also when the plants are well rooted in their pots. Most plants are shipped in 2 3/8” square, by 3 ¾” deep “band pots”. Plant size varies by species and ship date but will be well rooted and ready to plant.
