Riverina Alan lavender (Lavandula x intermedia ‘Riverina Alan’)is a vigorous, large-growing lavender variety known for its exceptionally long stems and dramatic, dark purple flower spikes. Reaching a substantial shrub size at maturity, this variety is especially well suited for mass plantings, informal hedges, and large-scale landscape designs.
Very large flower spikes sit atop long, sturdy stems (15–30 inches), making Riverina Alan one of the best lavenders for harvesting, crafting, and essential oil production. Violet-blue corollas paired with deep violet calyces create rich, saturated color in mid-summer when many gardens need a bold focal point.
