Lavandula x intermedia 'Hidcote Giant'

This lavandin cultivar has very long, stout flower heads on very long stems and is nice as a fresh cut flower. Don't confuse this with the dark purple Lavandula angustifolia 'Hidcote', a much different plant. The dark violet flower spikes have a distinct,  roundish appearance.
