Egerton Blue English Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia ‘Egerton Blue’) is an Australian-bred lavender prized for its robust, bushy growth habit and richly colored blooms. Dense gray-green foliage forms a substantial evergreen shrub, topped in early summer with very dark violet flower spikes held on thick, sturdy stems.

Flower spikes measure 8–12 inches long and emerge on dark green peduncles accented with purple and bright green margins, giving this variety exceptional visual depth in the garden and in harvested arrangements. Blooming from late June through July, Egerton Blue helps extend the English lavender season.

With its pleasant, well-balanced fragrance, Egerton Blue is especially well suited for culinary use, cut flowers, bouquets, crafts, and essential oil production. This versatile variety performs well in both landscape plantings and small-scale production settings.
