Lavandula angustifolia 'Celestial Star' is a vigorous, v-shaped cultivar distinguished by its substantial green foliage with subtle grey undertones. The plant develops sturdy, dark green stems reaching up to 12 inches, often displaying natural twisting characteristics that enhance its architectural appeal. This variety produces elongated, densely-packed spikes of pure white flowers that create striking visual contrast against the foliage. The blooms emerge reliably from mid-June through mid-July, offering an extended flowering window for garden design. Exceptional for cutting applications, the flowers retain their pristine appearance and fragrance when harvested at peak bloom. This lavender thrives in well-drained soil and full sun conditions, making it an excellent choice for Mediterranean-style gardens, borders, and pollinator landscapes. The cultivar's more compact growth habit and prolific flowering make it particularly valuable for landscapes.
