Lavender ‘Avice Hill’ is a compact, rounded English lavender originally brought from New Zealand and loved for its sweet fragrance and tidy growth habit. The plant forms a well-shaped shrub that looks good even when not in bloom, making it as valuable for structure as it is for flowers.
Its thick, dark purple flower spikes are longer than many English lavenders and appear most heavily in early summer, followed by lighter blooming throughout the rest of the season. This gives ‘Avice Hill’ a long presence in the garden and multiple opportunities for light harvesting.

When will my plants ship?
We schedule plant orders based on your area’s average last frost date and when each plant is truly ready to ship. You’ll receive an email with your estimated ship date once your order is scheduled.
Orders ship Monday–Wednesday via UPS or USPS (2–3 day service), so your plants arrive before the weekend and spend less time in transit. Shipping begins in spring—usually mid-April—when weather and plant health align, so your plants arrive strong, well-rooted, and ready to thrive.
