Iris germanica var. florentina (Iris - orris root)

This bearded iris is an absolute stunner! Its leaves are swordlike and flowers are fragrant and white to a pale violet color. The creeping rhizome is aromatic and is used in potpourri and perfumery. It needs good soil drainage.  Divide and replant clumps after 3-4 years.
