Inula ensifolia (swordleaf Inula)

This variety forms a compact mass of dark green blade-shaped foliage. When midsummer arrives, the plant bursts into a profusion of bright yellow blooms measuring 2 inches in diameter. A desirable selection for the forefront of a floral bed, and also serves as a beneficial food source for butterflies.
