Crocosmia (yellow flowered crocosmia)

This particular set of vibrant plants originating from South Africa were previously known as tritonia. The foliage is composed of large sword-shaped leaves, which are arranged in dense clumps. The flowers, in a nice yellow-orange shade, are elegantly displayed on curved stems. A beloved species for hummingbirds, this plant blossoms from midsummer until autumn.
