Variegated sweet flag is grown for its leaves—and they do all the talking. Slender blades of green edged in creamy white rise in gentle fans, bringing light and movement to places where flowers often struggle. It’s calm, clean, and quietly beautiful.
Unlike some sweet flags, this one isn’t grown for scent. It’s all about structure, color, and how it softens wet or shady areas. It thrives in moist soil and does especially well in partial shade, where the foliage keeps its crisp contrast without scorching.
It’s a wonderful choice for rain gardens, pond edges, shaded borders, and containers that never quite dry out.

When will my plants ship?
We schedule plant orders based on your area’s average last frost date and when each plant is truly ready to ship. You’ll receive an email with your estimated ship date once your order is scheduled.
Orders ship Monday–Wednesday via UPS or USPS (2–3 day service), so your plants arrive before the weekend and spend less time in transit. Shipping begins in spring—usually mid-April—when weather and plant health align, so your plants arrive strong, well-rooted, and ready to thrive.
