Tulbaghia violacea (society garlic)

The dense groupings of slender, deep green foliage are crowned with numerous bundles of charming pinkish purple, star-shaped blossoms on tall and rigid stalks. It is an excellent plant to cultivate in pots. It is both decorative and edible.
