Rosemary ‘Ella Jane’ (Rosmarinus officinalis) is a farm-discovered, upright rosemary variety known for its exceptional culinary quality, sturdy growth habit, and year-round usefulness. Previously available only at our Southern Oregon nursery, this exclusive rosemary is now offered for home gardeners and cooks alike. It was named after our first daughter, Ella Jane, making it a truly special addition to the garden.
Plants form a hardy, evergreen shrub with strong, upright branching and aromatic foliage that can be harvested continually. ‘Ella Jane’ is an outstanding culinary rosemary, valued for its bold yet balanced flavor that holds up well to cooking.
When in bloom, ‘Ella Jane’ produces abundant light purple to white flowers that attract bees and other pollinators, adding beauty and ecological value. The plant thrives in full sun with well-draining soil and requires little to moderate watering once established.
Equally well suited for herb gardens, landscape plantings, and large containers, this rosemary offers year-round structure, flavor, and fragrance.
